This is a CL type campsite that the owners seem tto be gradually turning into a full blown site with each pitch a level hardstanding complete with EHU, water and grey water disposal. There is a toilet and shower available during the 8.30 to 7.30 office hours although I understand a new facilities block will be build on the site itself in the fullness of time. The current facility is of a high standard and kept clean.
The site is part of a quite diverse business that includes caravan hire, caravan and motorhome repair/servicing, horse livery and a herd of Alpacas bred for the wool.
This site makes a good base to explore the East Midlands and is presumably popular in season as they will not take a one night booking over a weekend.
